We are delighted to announce that we have won the award for ‘Creative Outsourcer: Audio’ for the second consecutive year, at the Develop Awards in Brighton, on July 13.

The award featured in the Tech and Services category, with Side being recognised for our voice production work on The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. The game was a runaway success at the awards, picking up prizes for ‘Use of a Licence or IP’ and ‘Visual Arts’. CD Projekt Red, The Witcher III publisher, also won the award for Studio of the Year. Andy Emery, Side Managing Director, stated “I am delighted that Side has been recognised at the Develop Awards. The Witcher III has been an inspiring project to be involved in and our team have worked hard to achieve the high level of voice production this title demands. I’m extremely proud of everyone who contributed to winning this award. This is their award.”

The Develop Awards are described as the only peer-voted prizes for UK and European games developers which focus on creativity, teamwork and inspiring innovation. Side have been winners at The Develop Awards eight times. Full list of winners can be found here: http://www.develop-online.net/news/cd-projekt-red-and-sam-barlow-storm-2016-develop-awards/0222255
